High Roller at Linq

Linq - Las Vegas

This 550-foot-tall High Roller is the largest observation wheel in the world and about 107 feet taller than the London Eye. There are 28 cabins and each cabin can hold up to 40 people. Each ride is about 30 minutes long.  Click here for more information.

Here's a short video of the ride:

Ride

The wheel doesn't stop moving, so you have to enter inside while it moves. There is a net underneath in case anyone falls.

There are 2 small benches, so you can either sit there or stand. Most people stood around to enjoy the view. You can move around during the ride. There were also screens playing music and indicating the ascension level.

As you start the ride, you can see the people waiting in the line.

About halfway the ride, you reach the highest level (550 feet).

That's when you get the most stunning view especially during nighttime when the whole city is lit up.

Then you start descending...

And you're back to where you started. While you get out from the other door, more people enter the same cabin from the other side.

And that's it! The ride is over! My sister and I did enjoy the ride. I'd like to go back there during the day next time.
